Our town loves a parade. We have them ALL the time. The one last Sat was for the sheep herders or some such thing. So we started out Sat bright and early by driving into town for the festivities.
Horses pulling carts that's nothing unusual....
It goes without saying there is not much cooler for two little boys to see then real live sheep running down the road right in front of them. (love our small town)
After the parade it was off to the Pumpkin festival. Kolby was not really in the mood for fun. They had a little leaf jumping area and Kolby screamed like he was getting poked with hot needles when we put him in it. So Luke did the rest of the activities with dad.
Fun things like.... Pumpkin bowling
And trying to eat a doughnut without using his hands
Ok so maybe hands were used just a little bit. He spent the rest of the day covered in powdered sugar.
It was a beautiful day, much warmer then usual for this time of year. We ended the afternoon by going to Drew's birthday party. Happy birthday Drew!!!

It does sound like you had a wonderful parade on Saturday. And the sheep in the main street would have been a huge novelty for the boys!
Poor Kolby not liking the pumpkin things! Maybe next year he'll feel better about it and it looked like Luke had a great time with his Dad anyway!
Take care,
Anna
